Having a whole house water filter on your house will decrease the problems you have with plumbing. It removes chlorine, which helps the flapper last longer in your toilets, which wastes less water, and means you have to call the plumber less often.
It also helps the faucet finishes last longer because the water is not as aggressive on the finish, so the nice faucets you have in your house will keep looking nice longer. It helps the internal plumbing parts last longer in faucets and toilets, reducing both leaks and times you need to call a plumber.
Water filtration is also good for your body. Your skin absorbs water and what is in the water, so minimizing the number of showers in chlorine-treated water is healthier as it asks your body to do less filtration as well.
Of course, drinking water should also be filtered!
Installing a water filter on the whole house is one of the bigger things you can do to help your plumbing system last longer and to live and be healthier!
Hopefully, this is helpful, and as always, if you have questions about what toilet to choose for your house, give us a call or text us and we would be happy to come out and discuss the right solution to fit your needs.
