Hello Friends!

If you don’t already know me, my name is BayMaxx, I am a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier, and I am the official, unofficial mascot of Next Level Plumbing! I spend my days going on adventures with my humans, guarding the house, chasing lizards, and enjoying the love and attention I get from my family and friends.
I’ve got a very wonderful life! I know I’m luckier than other animals are, so I count my blessings a lot, it helps me fall asleep to do that! (And I take a lot of naps!)

I may only be four years old, but I’ve learned a lot in my life, and I’d like to share some of that with you today, with the help of my animal friends in the animated world!

Here Are 7 Things I’ve Learned About Life!

Live in the Moment

I’ve learned a lot of stuff since I was a puppy, but I really only think about that stuff when I need to! I like to live in the moment, and enjoy it while it lasts! I can’t change what happened in the past, and I don’t know what will happen in the future, so I’m going to make the best of what I can affect- them now!!
Enjoy the Journey

One of my favorite things to do is go on car rides or any type of adventure! This isn’t only because I love doing new things and exploring new places, but I love the journey to those new experiences! There’s a reason we dog like to stick our heads out into the wind on car rides! We are trying to take in as much as we can of the journey we are on! Whether your journey is long or short, like a daily drive to work, or a road trip with family, find a way to look for new experiences during it, and make the most of the experience!

Play Every Day

This is so important to me! And it should be to you as well! Taking time to relax, and enjoy yourself or play is so important, not just for your mindset and happiness, but for your health too! Even if your day is full of things to do, take a moment to stop, take a breather, and do something fun! It will help you so much! I promise!

Love without Expectation/Unconditionally

One thing I’ve learned over the years is how important it is to love unconditionally. Even though I don’t get a treat every day, it’s not because my humans don’t love me, and I don’t hold grudges against them even when they’re in bad moods! I know that loving them regardless of the changes throughout life is the best way to show them how important they are to me, and how much I love them!

Prioritize Rest & Relaxation

Sometimes life can get incredibly hectic and stressful, this is why we dogs (though our troubles are often few) values taking naps, finding a sunny spot to rest in, and enjoying the opportunities throughout the day to pause and relax! Prioritizing rest and relaxation is important for your health-body, mind, & soul! If you’re not prioritizing yourself, start doing so today!

Be Loyal & Dependable

Dogs are pack animals by nature, we think in this way, of being with the pack, defending the pack, providing for the pack. If you can think about the people who invest in your life daily as your pack and aim to do the same in return for them, then being loyal and dependable will become an important “pack” characteristic for you!

Drink Lots of Water

This one is a no-brainer! Water is so essential to everyone! Dogs never have a problem heading over to the water bowl when we’re thirsty, and we often will eat until we’re full as well! Drinking enough water is important for your health and recognizing the value of eating right and hydration is key to living a healthy, happy lifestyle!

I Hope you enjoyed these little tips for living life and loving it! See you next time!
With lots of love and kisses,
BayMaxx
